    A Tradition of Girl Scouting

    Girl Scouting runs deep in my family. When my mother was a young girl, my Oma started a Girl Scout Troop when there was none available. Her troop was known for being organized, active and outdoors! She taught her troop songs in German and left impressions on many girls. When I was in elementary school, I joined as a Brownie Girl Scout at my school. The girl holding the American flag is me!
