Bring on the Grilled Cheese…

A great friend of mine told me yesterday that I should savor the breaks from pregnancy symptoms. I have thought about that idea… though I find it very challenging. I am trying to remember that if the pregnancy ends prematurely, me feeling better is better than me feeling worse… and that if it is going well, I really could use a break to catch up on household chores. Yes, even in a camper, there are many chores. I got a good laugh last night when I put on pajamas that I purchased on our trip to Houston. I was convinced that I was losing weight, in all areas, in the last few days and on our trip the pajama top was pretty loose. Last night, I sadly put them on, expecting them to be even looser and me be horrified because of what that would supposedly mean. Anywho… non issue, they hardly fit at all. They were so tight. Apparently, my perception is not accurate lately.
The last few days I feel like I have a little more energy, though my temperature issues seemed to challenge my ability to utilize it. Today, however, my temperature seems to be staying normal. What baffles me is that I can go to bed completely (so I think) hydrated, and then awaken completely (so it seems) dehydrated. I slept with my pillows propped up so that my reflux wouldn’t drown me and so far it’s been a good day. About time for a nap. Two grilled cheeses and some peaches got the day going. Yummy! I don’t know if it is possible to “get used to” being pregnant, but I’m getting a little more comfortable with it. God’s good, I’m trying to trust that everything is under control.
