Preschool Homeschool – The Letter X
We opted to homeschool instead of enrolling our son in standard Pre-K. I am sharing with you some of the activities we did to learn about the letter X. Whether you homeschool or not, these are short and sweet ways to reinforce letter learning.
I poured Pickling Salt into a cookie sheet and shook it a bit to make it flat. Then, I drew an example and the kids practiced “writing” the letter “X”. My son (4) especially loves this activity. My daughter (2) enjoys it too. Fun sensory play!

Highlight-a-Letter by Babbling Abby. I use these for my oldest (4), while my youngest (2), colors on her own. She got X is for X-Ray today.
Tea Time with Tayla – Letter X
We did the X is for Xray craft from Simply Hood. I pre-cut the letter X and the bones and the kids put them together. Super cute!

These great, flash, interactive activities are a wonderful and FREE resource, as well! The kids really enjoy them! The whole set is available in the Google Play store for Android, Amazon App Store or iTunes!
Finally, we hung the Letter X (in big and little form) on our wall, to join A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N,O, P, Q, R, S , T, U, V & W.
