DIY Projects,  For the Kids

Flashback : Thanksgiving with Kids!

Last year, we hosted Thanksgiving dinner at our house.  My parents were able to fly in from the East Coast and some great friends attended as well!

I used some Crayola Model Magic and pipe cleaners to make a crayon holder for the kids’ table.  I used some old blackout shade fabric/plastic to cover the coffee table that the kids would be using.  I used colored felt to make the kids’ placemats.

The most fun, though, were the finger painting BAGS!  I used zip lok bags with tempera paint squirted inside, gorilla taped the bags closed and then gorilla taped them to the table covering.  The kids got to be creative with no mess!  Super Fun!
