Preschool Homeschool : The Letter W
We opted to homeschool instead of enrolling our son in standard Pre-K. I am sharing with you some of the activities we did to learn about the letter W. Whether you homeschool or not, these are short and sweet ways to reinforce letter learning.
We used Lego Duplo Alphabet Mats from 123Homeschool4Me.com. Both kids love it! My son is a VERY tactile learner, and these activities just ROCK!
Highlight-a-Letter by Babbling Abby. I use these for my oldest (4), while my youngest (2), colors on her own. She got Word Girl today.

Tea Time with Tayla – Letter W
We did the W is for Walrus craft, inspired by The Bryan Family. I didn’t tell the kids what they were going to make. I gave them one piece at a time and guided them and I asked them “What animal can you think of that starts with the Letter “W” and the sound “wuh wuh”?” My son guessed it! I think these might be the cutest project so far!
Starfall’s Letter W Activity : These great, flash, interactive activities are a wonderful and FREE resource, as well! The kids really enjoy them! The whole set is available in the Google Play store for Android, Amazon App Store or iTunes!
Finally, we hung the Letter W (in big and little form) on our wall, to join A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N,O, P, Q, R, S , T, U & V.
